We are excited to announce that we have partnered up with the Directors of Student Welfare and BISB’s IT Director, Mr Glyn Johnson, to provide a webinar for parents to discuss the use of computers and devices. This will take place on Monday, January 25 at 5:30 PM.
It’s fair to say this year there has understandably been a significant rise in the amount of time students, and families in general, spend in front of a screen for school, work and to socialize virtually with friends and family. The aim is to set out school policy clearly, discuss current issues, and share ideas and best practice for managing students’ screen time, both at home and at school. Mr. Johnson will also share information on topics such as how the school tracks student internet use and how the school’s firewall works.
There will be an opportunity for parents to ask questions and we encourage you to submit them in advance of the webinar – please send them to firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as possible.
